Descendants of Daniel and Mary Spangler Franklin (Floyd) County, Virginia 1773.
A 220 page 8 1/2 x 11 inch hardbound book with photo's and indexed listing over 850 surnames and 2000 individual names of thedir descendants compiled and edited by M.J. Spangler. Daniel and Mary's
children settled in Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri. Later
generations moved to North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia,
Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas,
North and South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, Mexico,
and South America. Most common surnames include Barton, Bower, Bowman, Conner, Davis
DeHart, Epley (Epperly), Graham, Hill, Howery, Hylton, Isley, Lookedoo, Martin
Maberry, Poff, Price, Proffit (Profitt), Reed, Shockey, Slusher, Smith, Sowers, Spangler,
Vest, Weddle, Weeks, Whitlock, Yopp and Young.
