The best I can offer is that after Bishop Gottlieb (Brother Joe)arrived i the US after a considerable amount of world-wide Missionary work, he led a group of Moravian Men from Bethlehem PA to the Frontier of NC in late summer of 1752 to survey 100,000 acres for a new Moravian setlement (now area of Winston-Salem,NC). May I suggest that you try to locate the History of the Moravian Church by A. Fries (multi-volume set) in a larger university type library for more info.

Good luck and greetings from Canada.
