I was once, many many years ago, contacted by the "Teacher" in Germany to assist him on finding Spangenbergs in the US. He kept all of his information on 4x5 cards typed with an old typewriter. A lot of it was in German. He English (written) was somewhat limited.

I, thinking he was a quack and at the time not interested in Genology, dismissed him and did not answer.

Now, I wish I had. I looked for the papers he had sent me all those years ago and was unable to find them.

Sorry to hear that he has passed away.
