Sorry, my error. The book references Peter Sitz, page 127. That is Peter Sutz. There were several Peter Sutz. This one appears to be the brother of Anna Margaretha Sutz (daughter of a Peter Sutz). She was first wife of John Spalsbury 1740-1803. Lots of various spellings for Spalsbury. Palatine German. Listed in Militia as Joh's Shals Berger. Spalsperger. Spalsbergh. Spaltzbergher(probably closest). Spallisbere. Spallsberry. What is your line from John 1740-1803 to your Francis? Also, what dates do you show for Francis? Barbra
