I found a reference to your Maria Elisabeth Spainhour listed as Margaretha Elisabeth Spainhour, both born 26 Feb 1746. I also found a reference to Gerard Zinn being a good friend of the Spainhours. Gerhardt and Margaretha Guth Zinn seemed to have closely followed the same trail as the Spainhours. Your Elisabeth Lum seems to be a perfect match to my Elisabeth Zinn. Both were born the same time, both were in PA, both moved to the New River area and left because of Indians, and both are buried at Bethebara. Zinn has often been written as Linn because of the German Z. Is there a reference with the name Lum written? Are there any references to Elisabeth naming her child Margaretha? TIA
