Félix was born in or near Bilbao, Spain on 26 May 1821, to a Spanish father (Dupeirron) and French mother (De Brath)- his French grandfather was French consul in Bilbao. Félix was baptized Catholic and educated at a Jesuit college in the South of France. He stated he was a subject of Spain. wounded at 22 in some action of the Carlist Wars of' 1843. He received Spain's highest award for gallantry "Cross of Ferdinand" but no pension. After this, Félix emigrated from Bilbao, Spain, to England and married an English lady in his early twenties.
How can I find his birth certificate and the full names of his parents?
