I have been looking at various way this name could be spelled: De la Santis, De la Sontis,D'alesanndis, Delessandra, etc.
Does any one know how to look up someone born in Spain from the 1800's?
And do they take their last name from the fathers side and the middle name from the mothers father's side. I am confused.
If his name was known as Joseph Emanual Delossontis by his daughter would it be understood that his father was Delossantis? Etc
