Jose Rodriguez Gonzalez b. 1862 from Gijon Asturias

My great grandfather, Jose Rodriguez Gonzalez was born about 1862 in Gijon, Asturias, Spain. He left Spain and went to Cuba and married Delores Zaldivar in Cuba about 1890. They had 5 children while in Cuba. In 1901 the entire family left Cuba and moved to Tampa Florida where Jose worked as a Selector in a cigar factory. I was told that possibly Jose was asked to come to Cuba to work but I do not know by whom or when or why.

Delores was born May 2, 1868 in Cuba and died on May 24, 1914 in Tampa and Jose died November 8, 1923 in Tampa Florida.

I am looking for any information on Jose's birthparents or
exact birthplace in Gijon. Both his parents were Asturians and the father was "Rodriguez" and mother "Gonzalez". He may have had a sister named Benigna that married a "Perez". In 1907 a postcard was sent from Mondariz, Spain to the daughter of Jose Rodriguez. It was written
"To my Niece Blanca". The photo on the card is a lady, her husband and a young boy.

Any information would be appreciated.
