Missing daughter Constance Marian/Marin (sounds like Ma deen) from Spain 1800's

I have a great grandmother who the story goes- she was from a prominant family in Spain. My great grandfather Isadore Rodriguez asked her father for her hand in marriage and the father refused him. Later that night or soon after Isadore abducted Constance Marian/Marin and sailed off with her. By the time Constances father would have known about it they were long gone, so the story goes. My grandfather, their son was born in Mexico in 1896 His name was Joseph R. Rodriguez and he had a sister Paula. My grandpa Joseph died in Ludington Michigan USA 1977. He is the one who told the story to us and he did mention Barcelona Spain to his daughter, but I don't know if that was the region or not. I was told she had very light skin coloring and blue eyes, light hair.
If this sounds anything like your relation contact me. Please if possible in English.
