Greetings !
My name is Ernesto Cortez, and I came from the Philippines. My family have just started making a family tree, and from our research, we learned that our ancestor, Antonio Herrero was from Sta. Maria de la Nueva, Segovia, Spain. His daughter, Magdalena , was my grandmother. Antonio was a civil servant who was sent to the Philippines sometime in 1865 to oversee Spain's tobacco monopoly . To date, we only know of one relative, a Bruno Herrero, who came to the Philippines early 1900's to visit Antonio and returned to Spain . We've also heard of a relative Herrero who became a mayor in Segovia.
