"KING'S GUARD" , circa mid-1700's/1800's

Looking for any information on the name of a "Captain" in the "King's Guard", mid 1700's to early 1800's. I hope somebody can help. I've been told my Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather, Charles Albert SIGSBEE, went to Madrid, Spain, from England, and became the Captain of the King's Guard. Can anybody verify this for me?

Also, I am interested in verifying the fact that Charles Albert SIGSBEE married a woman by the name of Lucia INEZ, who was a member of the "King's Court". Can anyone verify this for me?

Please email responses to me at my email address of freckles@net-link.net

Looking forward to hearing from somebody. Thank you very much for your anticipated assistance. Muchas Gracias.

Sandy Mann
