Thank you so much for your kind offer. I dont have a great deal of data on this branch of my wife's tree and most of what I have is from some hand-written notes left by her grandmother. But here goes...
Her grandfather was Elmer James Sowers. He was born in Kittanning in November 1886 and died in Newton Falls, Trumbull County, Ohio in July 1949. He married Reverend Elizabeth Susannah Ruffner in Kittanning in March 1911.
Elmer's Father was Joseph Henderson Sowers, born in July 1864 in PA, died October 1919 and was married to Ellen J. Schall in September 1885.
Joseph's father was David Sowers. He was married three times, to Eliza Lockhart, Anna Maria Uplinger and to Catherinf Shannon (from whom my wife descends). I have some few other bits and pieces but could always use more information.
If you can trace any further with this tree or find any more details I would be most grateful. If it is possible to obtain copies of appropriate pages I will be happy to reimburse you for any expence involved. If any of this data is of use in your research I will be happy to share the rest with you.
