I am descended from Henry Sowers b. Mar 1, 1822 who married Martha Harper. I think Henry's father was Edward Sowers who married Nancy Leach but have seen other sources saying differently. One such source seems to have lumped all the Sowers names in the county and assigned them to one set of parents.
How sure are you of Edward and his father? Any clarification would be appreciated. I have a copy of Henry and Martha's newspaper interview on the occasion of their 63rd wedding anniversary which is pretty interesting reading. I would be happy to send it to you if you would like.
