Still looking for Benjamin Sowers parents and family group and they are becoming quite elusive. He may have a brother named Henry( married a Julia but not confirmed) There is a Jonas Sowers that came from Northumberland county to Jefferson county in the early 1880's and had at least two sons with him at the time of the move as a first settler according to a local history book. (My only lead at the moment)
Benjamin was born 24 April 1809 and married Mary Polly Brosisus(her father is Michael Brosius). Ben and Polly had 13 children.
Anyone researching this line? Thanks.
