It is possible that your Sowell's and my Sowell's are connected. However I have not run across Artemesia Zepora Sowell in any of my research.
My Sowell's moved from Maury County Tennessee to the Obion County Tennessee in the 1870's. My great great grandfather was William Burr Sowell 3/27/1843-4/26/1911 William married Marths A. Loftin 11/16/1845-6/24/1923. They were married in Maury County Tennessee in 1870. William Burr an Mattie are buried at the Eastview Cemetery in Union City. Their child William Clarence is my great-grandfather. I don't know the names of Wm. Clarence's siblings but according to family oral history there were some.
I hope this helps. Most of my Sowell information was lost in a house fire so any help would be appreciated.
