Jenifer I sure wish you would check back to this board. Joao Ignacio Sousa and Maria Philomena were my ggg's and I would love to talk to you. Joao was born in 1842 and Maria 1848. I would love to find the connection. I am still working on the tree and would love to see what you have.

Joao and Maria arrived in Hawaii in 1884 on the Monarch from port Riberia Grande San Miguel.

They both died in Oakland CA.

Children:
Jose, Antone, Joao, Manuel, Jacinto, Maria, Mary, Eugene, and Ida.
