Hi Noreen, Thought I`d write again with a little more specifics. My 3rd g, grandmother was Mary Emma Southworth b 15 Apr 1840, d 19 Nov 1893 Lorimer St, Brooklyn, Ny daughter of James M. Southworth b 1811 Queens, Ny and Eliza, she had a brother Silas, a sister Effie, and a few other siblings. They resided after 1850 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Ny. Mary Emma married George Foster Melton, marriage date 2 Jul 1863 Church of the Assumption, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Ny George and Mary Emma had several children, but I`ll tell you my line. My 2nd g, grandmother was Lillie aka Eliza Upson Melton b. 17 Dec 1867 Brooklyn, Ny d. 18 Dec 1918 King`s Co. Hospital, Ny of Lobar Pneumonia, she married Frank Monroe b Dec 1854 in Windham Co, Ct he d. 26 Jan 1925 Bushwich Hospital, Brooklyn, Ny Their daughter my g, grandmother was Effie Jesse Monroe b 19 May 1891 prob Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Ny she married my g, grandfather Charles Cornelius Becker b 13 May 1891, they had one son my grandfather Charles Stanley Becker b 25 Apr 1912 Ridgewood, Brooklyn, Ny as a matter of fact they lived around Madison st and Linden St, at one time.
