Thank you Michael,

I've since viewed the records and read about these soldiers. Oddly enough, both my g-grandfather and his cousin of the same name, entered the VA 58th and were POWs then US VOL in the same unit. It appears on many of the "cards" they went by CM or Charles M Sr and Jr as my ancestor was a bit older than his cousin. Now I am trying to distinguish which man was in which prison camp as the info is not clear to me. Thank you for your reply.
