Jospeh Green/Martha Frederick

I am really interested in the "Illinois Connection". Joseph Green was an
uncle to William Frederick (my GG Grandfather). Joseph Green was in the 1st
Alabama Cav USA. He died in Corinth. MS. Martha (Frederick) Green, Joseph's
wife, is said to have died in Union Ill. , 1863. I have often wondered
how/why Martha had been in Ill in 1863. Is Union Ill close to Marion Co. IL?
Martha died while in Union Il in 1863. I would be interested in finding her
I have also wondered what was my GG Grandmother, Adaline (Tyra) Frederick
doing while William was away with the 3rd Ohio Cav. Did she leave also?

Thank you

Dave Frederick
