I'm currently reading Mr. James Baggett's book, "Homegrown Yankees: Tennessee's Union Cavalry in the Civil War" and though it is primarily about the cavalry regiments, there is a chapter that covers the mounted infantry regiments. So far, it is a very, very good book, one that I would recommend to those who has an interest in Tennessee's Union soldiers. Roy Queen Notify Administrator about this message?
