Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

John Wesley Campbell Britnell married (2) Deborah White, 2 months after Fanny Frederick (1) died. He removed to Shelby County, TX with Deborah and his only surviving child (of 5)from his first marriage, and 2 sons from Deborah. She died in 1910 and is buried in Old Home cemetery, Paxton, TX. JWC became ill and moved in with his oldest son in Red River Parish, LA; he died there and is buried in Holley Springs Methodist Church cemetery near Coushatta, LA. He was my great-grandfather by his youngest son Irbin Marion. I doubt that he served in the War of Northern Aggression; he was born in 1850. I have a photo of him.
