I am no relation to him. My ancestor(Samuel H) was not in the military on either side.He was related by marriage to some of the Penn's, Day's and William Looney .He lived in Basham's Gap .He is mentioned in several Claims Applications as a Unionist. I just read today about the Union League of those times. Have you heard of it? Thanks for the tips on the books.
