I have very little information on Levi C Weaver other then he was a confederate soldier who died Sept 3 1862 in Ringgold Catoosa, GA. He was the youngest son of John Weaver & Maria Price both born in South Carolina but settled their family in Brewton, Escambia Co, AL. I understand Ringold was where the local hospital was so I am guessing he lived through the battle or that is where the dead were brought. How do I find out if he was in the Battle of Chickamauga Creek in Sept 1863? Any advice appreciated. Thanks for your time & trouble.
