The William W. could be the William married to Isabella on pg 745 of the 1860 (July) census. The William in Franklin co is listed as 22 on the census and born in AL. Ggrandpa Henry listed his father (in the 1900 census) as born in AL. Henry died in 1911 and I have not found him in the 1910 census. I wonder if there might be more info on the actual reords -married and maybe the wife's name?
When I put William Hood in family search (1880) it only gives 2 and one was living in Jefferson Co, AL. Very interesting!!
Denard (only 1 N in this case) is listed in the 1860 census index for Franklin co also, pg 743.
I think I need to find out more about this William and perhaps Denard also. Where would I send to for more info?
