Thank you very much. I don't expect to find anything like a list but I am curious to know how much Unionist sympathy may have existed in that area. I had always understand that such sympathy was much farther west than where my husband's family lived (Henry Co Va) but I just can't see any other reason to name a child after a Union general in the 1880s.
