NORTH CAROLINA UNION VOLUNTEERS [ NCUV-L ]

If you are interested in the history and the genealogy of the NC Union
Volunteers formed in North Carolina during the American Civil War,
please join with us. Our discussions will cover the soldiers, the
battles, the regimental histories, the soldiers' military and pension
records and all other aspects of the four regiments of NC Union
Volunteers: the 1st & 2nd NC Union Volunteer Infantries, formed in the
eastern coastal area of North Carolina, and the 2nd & 3rd NC Union
Mounted Infantries, formed in the mountains. Also, soldiers from North
Carolina who served in other Union regiments and sailors and marines
