Dave,
The microfiche showing all the claims filed and whether or not they were
allowed, rejected, or barred is in a small room off the microfilm reading
room on the 4th floor of the Archives in downtown DC (ask one of the staff
to point you to it). You can use the microfiche right there. All of the
info on the disallowed claims is on the microfiche (there are no other
files). The files of allowed claims, however, are in College Park, MD.
Only the claims from GA and AL have been microfilmed and those microfilms
are in both DC and College Park. The microfilm of Alabama allowed claims
(M2062) is in Cabinet 95, drawer 5 back in the room off of the microfilm
reading room downtown (where the microfilm of pension records is kept). The
rolls are organized by county. These contain all of the info on the AL and
GA claims.
If you want to see the files of allowed claims from any of the other states,
you have to go to College Park. The archivist who is responsible for these
files is Wayne DeCeasar. Ask to see him; he was very helpful. Good luck
and if you have other questions on this, let me know.

Richard
