The only info I have on Mr. SOUTHERLAND is his initials on the marriage license. They were married in Emanuel County GA. Melvina DAVIS is my ancestor. I haven't been able to locate anything of them either. I know Melvina was with her parents on the June 1880 census for Emanuel, but haven't found her after that; listed either as DAVIS or SOUTHERLAND. They were married in December of 1880.
Would appreciate any help you can give.
