I am looking for information on William Southerland b. abt. 1820 England (his parents born there as well) who married an Emily Boon (Boon would be her previous married surname) b. abt. 1831 in Ky.
They are on the 1880 US Census for Balltown, District 8 Nelson Co. Kentucky on page 39 taken on 6/24/1880, Household # 151. Listed with them were her children apparently of a previous marriage to a Boon: Monreo Boon b. abt. 1852 Ky., Wm. H. Boon b. abt. 1859 Ky., and Robt. H. Boon b. abt. 1865 Ky.; these children were listed as step-sons of William Southerland.
Next household after them (#152) was that of a W. J. Boon b. abt. 1831 Ky. and wife Margaret b. abt. 1841 Ky. and a son Francis Boon b. abt. 1865 Ky.
After their household was yet another Boon family (household #154) being that of Les Boon b. abt. 1821 Ky. Listed along with him was his mother Katherine Boon b. abt. 1801 Ky. as well as a sister Susan Boon b. abt. 1849 Ky. and a James Boon b. abt. 1875 Ky. who was listed as "cousin"...
