Betsey SOUTHARD married Joseph PATTEN of Maine in 1790's

Seeking info on the marriage of Elizabeth "Betsey" Southard to a Joseph Patten of Maine, probably in the late 1790's. Betsey was the daughter of Abraham Southard of Maine. She was probably born approx 1777 or 78.

All I have been able to find is that this Betsey Southard married a "Joseph Patten of Maine". I am descended from a Joseph Patten, born in Skowhegan, Maine around 1777, who was married to a Betsey (maiden name unknown). They lived in Skowhegan and Pittsfield area of Maine. I am trying to find out if Betsey Southard is the Betsey who was married to my ancestor, Joseph Patten.

It seems quite likely, since two of Betsey Southard's brothers each named a son Leander Patten Southard. My Joseph and Betsey had a son named Leander patten. Another brother named a son Elbridge G. Southard and my Joseph and Betsey had a son named Elbridge G. Patten. And then Betsey's brother, John Southard named a daughter, Elizabeth Patten (Betsey) Southard! This all seems too much to be a coincidence, but would like something more to confirm it. Any info or suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Diana
