William Robert LANGRIDGE was my paternal Great Grand-father, born in London (?) around 1865. He travelled to South Africa to recuperate from a fall supposedly sustained whilst in Lord Gladstone's employment, in +- 1889. He married Louisa Rohland, and had 2 children; Winifred who died young, and Charles Arthur William (CAW) born in 1892 in Johannesburg. Robert William died in 1894 in Jhb. CAW married my Grandmother, Jemima Elizabeth WEBB around 1917. Their children were named: Thomas Arthur Edward, Eileen Winifred, Edward Cottington etc. Does this collection of LANGRIDGE christian names mean anything to anyone ? Kind regards, Rose
