Wm Crossey - Antrim, Ireland to Durban

Hi folks,

A great uncle of mine, William Crossey, born in County Antrim, Ireland, about 1860, is rumoured by the family to have worked in South African gold mines.

He was in Lisburn, Co. Antrim, in 1899 when his child Joseph was born, but according to the LDS website, he died in Durban.

I don't have his dates, but can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
Ciaran Crossey
