Edgar L Soucy, 1941-2009
MANCHESTER -- Edgar L. Soucy, 67, died Feb. 28, 2009, at Elliot Hospital.
He was born on March 3, 1941, in Manchester, to Edouard and Georgette (Dallaire) Soucy. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He was employed by Sheet Metal Workers Local 17, where he was a sheet metal mechanic.
He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson. He also enjoyed fishing and playing pool at the Mont Royal Club.
Family members include his wife, Janet (Rondeau) Soucy of Manchester; one son, Jody Soucy of Goffstown; two daughters, Michelle Soucy and Robyn Soucy, both of Manchester; two brothers, Laurent Soucy of Antrim, and Richard Soucy of New Boston; two sisters, Jacqueline Gage of Maryland and Denise Breton, of Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: In addition, other family members include Pepere's little buddy, Braxton. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Eugene Soucy.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., corner of Union Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, Manchester.
