I looked for Vital on the Salt Lake search engine and only came up with this,

Vital SOUCY (AFN: 1KNN-CRN)
Sex: M
Birth:
Abt. 1837
<St Brunos Parish, Van Buren, Aroostook, Maine>

Parents:

Marriage(s):
Spouse:
Flavie DOUCETTE (AFN: 1KNN-CSV)

Marriage:

Even if he married twice (it doesn't list a second wife but has a space for one!), I saw a short list of 4 children for this couple, and there is no Arthemise, and the children that are listed cover the time frame around the birth of my Arthemise.

I do note however, Vital, is of the right time frame to have been a parent to my Arthemise. Was there more than one Vital in that time frame??

And where was THIS Vital in 1880?

JB
