Oh, Lordy, I had forgotten I had posted that! Sorry to leave everyone hanging. Here's what I've got, some of it anecdotal, some of it from the International Genealogical Index.

William Sorrow c.1730-1806
m. Sarah ______________

Their son, Samuel
m. Mary ______________

Their son was Jesse Mercer Sorrow b. 1798
m. Sarah or Sally Johnson b. 1800

McKinzie "Mack" H. Sorrow
m. Sarah Elizabeth Gunter b. 1829

One of their daughters, Sarah Frances, was my grandmother's grandmother. My grandmother was named after both her grandmothers, so I assume Sarah Frances went by Frances.

Sarah Frances was born in 1865. She married Willis Houston Brooks. They had two children Emory Jesse and Ara. Ara never married, but my aunt tells tales that she used to make anatomically correct gingerbread boys. Emory Jesse married Ida Mae Wiggins, and the had a slew of kids, one of whom, was Frances Virginia a/k/a "Me-mama" to me. BTW, her bible shows McKinzie spelled "McKinsey."

Much of my data is on a very hard-to-read fax. I have a lot of trouble with hard documentation because I live on a small island in the North Pacific! I'd be happy to fax or e-mail more details to anyone who needs more siblings of these folks along the line! Thanks for being patient.
