I believe that David Crockett SoRelle was one of the two youngest children of John M. SoRelle that Permelia was thought to have murdered. The following article fits the ages of David and his older brother Samuel.

Marshall, Texas

Tuesday April 25, 1882
Died:
Near the Sabine river, about 12 miles from Marshall, in
this county, in what is known as the Chamber neighborhood,
two little children. The mother is the widow of Mr. John
So Relle, who died last February. The children were aged
three and four and one-half years. They had been beaten
and drowned. An inquest was held.
