Hello Carol, The only time we see Chilson is in the 1895 census you mention. Generally when we see the given name of Chilson, it is usually a male. We do see the Frank listed with Chilson, Fred and daughter, Cora May Soper. This is what Dawn and her late husband, Dr. Earl F. Soper tells us in the New Soper Compendium: Francis 'Frank' David Soper (c1854- ) was born in Canada and was the son of Charles Soper and Margaret Atchinson. He married Alice Mae Lucas (c1867- ) of Red Wing, Minnesota. We know of at least one daughter, Cora May Soper. Cora married Nelson Crowell on July 25, 1904 in Becker County, MN. Frank was living in Becker County as seen in the census figures of 1885 and also the 1895 census. Do you have anything further on the Chilson listed?
