Your right Rhoda was too young to be mother to all of the children, but I don't have information on another wife. Will check into what I can find. I show General and Rhoda's marriage date as 4/10/1897 in Purdy, Barry Co., Missouri. Yes General and Rhoda are buried at Arnhart Cemetery.
His Obit reads General P. Sooter, 77 Dies Here Saturday
General P. Sooter, 77, of 1428 W. Admiral Blvd. died at a Tulsa hospital Saturday from a compliation of diseases attributed to his age.
The body will be sent to Purdy, Mo. by the Winterringer funeral home for funeral and burial . He leaves three sons, J.M. Sooter, Tillman Sooter, adn Howard Sooter , all of Tulsa; five daughters, Mrs Frona Briggs,Reeds, Mo.; Mrs. Lorene Clapp, Mrs. Pearl Woodard, Mrs Leona Wright and Mrs. Goldie Stansbaugh.
