Herr Sonntag, Hamburg, Germany c. 1810-1830

Does anyone know the identity or have other info on the "Herr Sonntag" mentioned below:

"He [William Watson Tait] carried on business at Liverpool as a ship owner and ship broker and at one time took out with others Letter of Marque for a privateer during the War with Napoleon and captured a Dutch vessel believing that England was then at war with Holland. As a matter of fact it appeared that this country and Holland were at peace, and the Prize Court at Liverpool ordered the privateers to pay compensation to the Dutchman, after which the enterprise was closed down. William Watson Tait who lived at Livesey Hall, Wavertree, Liverpool, was at one time very well off but was ruined by the failure of his correspondent at Hamburg, Herr Sonntag (after whom W. Watson Tait's daughter was named), owing to the requisitions levied by Napoleon's General, marshal Davout on his occupation of Hamburg." Source: Mortimer Constantine Tait genealogy
