Jack,
As of now I don't know anything. But my mom will be looking into it to find out if she has any information. My mom said that a family story said that Jacob Boffman Son liked to play the fiddle. He was going somewhere and he was playing the fiddle and he heard some "bushwackers" coming so he sat down and started playing his fiddle. The guys stopped and listened to him play and then went on their way. But again she is going to look to see if she has any information on his death.
