Wow.. Per the 1850 St. Louis census
Children of GARRET SON and AMELIA FARRIS are:
vii. RUBEN SON16,17, b. November 08, 1832, St. Louis,Missouri; d. Abt. 1847(?), unknown; m. CATHERINE, Abt. 1844, St. Louis County, Missouri
Catherine is listed in Garrets house hold with children, Valentine and Margaret. Catherine in turn married Calvin Farris. Her husbands uncle.

Getting closer to connecting these Son's
