For those that may be interested, there will be a small segment on one(of three)programs of the Antique Roadshow taped in Memphis, TN on July 31, 2004. They will be aired in January 2005. There will be a display of the letters written by Reuben Son on his way and upon his arrival in California.

REUBEN SON'S LINE OF DESCENT:
Michael Son, Sr. b Abt.1750 Augusta Co., VA m.Eliz. ?

Abraham Son b abt 1777 m. Catey Ferrel Jan. 13, 1789 Madison Co., KY, D. bef. 1872

John F. Son b. abt.1793 KY, m. 1818 (1) Mary? (2) JANE READ, Caldwell Co.,KY, d. aft. 1860 Jane Read was b. abt 1800 KY dau. of Reuben Read and Mary Polly Alford

Reuben Son, b. Nov. 2, 1826 ?, d. Dec. 27, 1857, Shasta Co., CA

(Reuben had three sisters, Louisa Son b. Sept. 10, 1821 Caldwell Co.,KY d. April 11, 1874 Pontotoc Co., MS who m. Cicero Marion Callaway (my great grandfather), Mary Jane (Polly) Son b. abt. 1822 KY who m. Thomas Carver, Nancy Son ?. and one brother John C. Son b. 1824
