Joseph Soltz/Sons?
Posted by: Sharon Guerra Date: August 23, 2000 at 20:16:54

Hi.

I just received a copy of a Declaration of Intention for a Joseph Soltz(?) or Sons. I'm willing to send a copy to anyone who might be interested.

Only the first entry of the name looks like Soltz, all other places where the name appears, including what seems to be Joseph's signature, sort of looks like "Sons". Horrible handwriting throughout.

Here's the info:
Declaration of Intention, Perry County Probate Court, Ohio.
Dated Sept 28, 1882. Joseph Soltz/Sons, a native of Germany,
first arrived in the United States in Oct, 1881.

There is no other useful information on the document.

Thanx,
Sharon in PA
