ihave just started research on this family is from pultusk , poland ( ethnic ger )I have heard that this name dates back as far as 1600 in a town called " RITTERsburg " or something like that. RITTER meaning knight... I was told that we might have royal blood dating back to this era. that is all I know as I am just starting...
