At the German Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 12th, 1904, took place the marriage of Edward Boettcher, and Miss Minnie Sommer. Re. Frank Brasch performed the ceremony which made this young couple one. His words were well chosen for the occasion and added encouragement to the happiness of the young couple. Miss Sommer had resided here only a few years and is reported to be a lady of worth and possessing qualifications that will prove her a good helpmate. Mr. Boettcher is a young farmer of Des Moines River, who is bound to succeed. The young people have many friends in this vicinity. The occasion was celebrated at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Fred Flessner of Bondin, where many gathered to congratulate the happy couple. FuldaFreePress CopyAvailableUponRequest
