Hello - new to this board. I have done a lot of research on Somervilles (and all variations on that surname) in Scotland, including some of my ancestors who went to Halton County in Ontario. The Somervilles were mostly based in Lanarkshire. My tree goes back to around 1660.

I'm going to have a good old browse through the forum threads. And I'll post this message on the Sommerville forum too, for believe me, I've got every variation on the name! Some are:
