I am looking to make any connections with my grandfather Henry Solly, born at Canterbury April 13 1800. He married Ann Colyer on Feb 2nd 1827 at St. Stephen near Canterbury. Their children were Jane, b Margate October 27 1827, Eliza Ann, b Margate Feb 8 1829, Henry born St Pauls Canterbury Jan 7, 1831 Mary John Stephen, Ann, Elizabeth, Thomas and Helen who were born at St Martins, St Pauls, or in South Australia, after their migration on September 21st 1840. Rueben Solly also migrated from Canterbury within a few years of their migration, and the two families lived in close proximity, however I have yet to make any connection. Can anyone pick up on this story?
