Hi, I just started research today. My grandmother's father was named Silvestre Solis. He lived in Texas and in California but was born in Mexico. My great-grandmother was his second wife. They had three children together who were all born in Coahuila Mexico. His wife was Refugio Flores and his children were Alfredo, Manuel and Amparo. Please let me know if any of this information can help. I am not sure it is the same person but could be a cousin.
