Looking for information on Richard Solis listed on 1850 census living in Newark, NJ (census also shows a Charlotte Burnet age 60 of England living with them in 1850).
On 1860 census living in New Brunswick, NJ; he also had a home in Roxbury, MA at the same time. Born between 1804 and 1808 somewhere in West Indies, he was involved in the rubber manufacturing industry, and held several US patents.
Wife's name Ann Jane (maiden name unknown, born in NY about 1818). Children William (1840 born Ohio), Elizabeth, (1842 born Ohio), Richard Jr. (1846 born NY), John (1848 born NY).
