Yes, we are distant relatives. I, along with many others have been collecting information for years on the Soles family. Curtis must have moved from Allegheny County since he did not come up in my research of census material of Allegheny County. Curtis was one of 6 children to James and Rebecca Soles. James was one of two children we have found of Samuel and Nancy Frew Soles. Samuel was one of 8 children of Henry and Elizabeth Soles. We are part of the Peter Sole family from Germany. Peter and wife Mary Anderson settled in the Pittsburgh area about late 1700's. It is a huge family mainly in Allegheny and Westmoreland Couties of Pennsylvania.
The most famous of the Soles family is Jacob Soles, a soldier, who carried A. Lincoln after being shot. Your e-mail address was not available to me.
